Rural Fire Service Week

Rural Fire Service Week is a state-wide celebration of the dedication and commitment of the 36,000 men and women who volunteer their time to help keep Queensland communities safe. Rural Fire Service volunteers are involved in hazard mitigation, community education, fighting fires, managing the Permit to Light Fire System, and providing assistance during other disasters such as floods and storms.
Rural Fire Service Week will be held from Sunday 4 June 2017 to Saturday 10 June in 2017.
