Persons who are found responsible for lighting fires without a 'Permit to Light Fire' (when this is required) or who have lit a fire where there is a prohibition by a local government law are liable to be prosecuted.  In addition, any person who has obtained a permit and fails to follow the conditions placed on the permit can also be prosecuted.
